Diocesan Pilgrimage to DC

 

In honor of the 250th anniversary of our Nation, Bishop Knestout invites the faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond to join us on pilgrimage at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C on October 24th, 2026 to entrust our country to the maternal care of Our Lady, Patroness of the Americas.

Official programming and diocesan liturgies will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. To celebrate the Jubilee Year of Saint Francis of Assisi, pilgrims will be able to easily visit the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America using our free shuttle buses. Those shuttles will also provide service to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.  You can learn more about the pilgrimage here.
